The VW CC is run as a separate model in the product catalog of the Wolfsburg-based carmaker since 2012. Previously, Volkswagen has offered the four-door coupe than Passat variant.
With the name change to the VW CC's new design line and especially the new family face was taken. This repositioning is sought - away from fleet customers model Passat direction towards the upper class.
In Germany, the VW CC is currently offered with two diesel engines, which make 140 and 170 hp from two liters. The range of petrol engines ranging from the 1.8-liter with 160 hp over a two-liter with 210 hp to 300-hp 3.6-liter V6.
As standard, the VW CC is among others equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels, a dual exhaust, sports seats, sports suspension, air conditioning, static cornering lights, a fatigue warning, a CD radio and a multifunction steering wheel. For more sporty four-door Coupé from there is an R-Line Edition.
