Smart has patented a new Roadster , which is based on the Smart Cross Blade from 2001 . Already on 16 Month, Mercedes has the design of a two-seat roadster with stubby windshield registered in the U.S. - unfortunately without more information.
The model could also be a concept study for the next Smart Roadster - and could be presented at the Detroit Motor Show and later at the Geneva Motor Show. In contrast to the Cross Blade , which was limited to 2,000 copies, with a narrow windshield and with swiveling " door " bar came along , presents the new " Smart Roadster / Smart Cross Blade / Smart Something " with a larger windscreen - which nevertheless this name not necessarily deserve - and conventional doors.
